About me

I am an FSP psychologist and psychotherapist offering in‑person and online therapy in English, French, Dutch and Russian. I have Bachelor and Masters degrees in Psychology from Leiden University (The Netherlands).

I work with adults, adolescents, expats and couples. I am particularly suited to clients experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout, relationship or intimacy difficulties, divorce or lingering effects of trauma.

Using evidence‑based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion‑Focused Therapy (CFT), I provide a warm, structured space to understand what is happening, reduce symptoms and build a more balanced, meaningful life.

What therapy can do for you

Clarity & Focus

Cut through mental noise, see situations more clearly, and make decisions with greater confidence and calm

Emotional Resilience

Build inner strength under pressure, recover more quickly from setbacks, and stay grounded when life feels intense

Emotional Healing

Work through past hurts safely, soften painful patterns, and move forward feeling lighter, more connected, and more yourself

Therapy skills

My therapy combines proven clinical methods with practical tools you can use in everyday life. Together, we focus on understanding what you’re going through, building skills that actually fit your reality, and creating steady, sustainable change

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Helps you build a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself, reduce shame and self‑criticism, and support emotional healing

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Helps you identify and gently change unhelpful thoughts and habits, so you feel less stuck, cope better with challenges, and make more intentional choices in daily life

CALM method

Helps you strengthen the four pillars of wellbeing — Clarity of mind, Alignment with your values, a Lifestyle that supports your mental health, and Meaningful connections with others

How therapy with me looks like

Together we will clarify what is not working, understand why it is happening, and build concrete tools so you can feel calmer, more connected with your values & purpose, and more in control of your life

Are you experiencing any of these?

Burnout

  • Do you feel constantly exhausted, even after rest, and find it hard to switch off from work?
  • Have tasks that used to feel meaningful started to feel empty, pointless, or overwhelming?

Anxiety

  • Is anxiety showing up in your body—tight chest, tense muscles, trouble sleeping—without a clear reason?
  • Do you avoid situations, conversations, or decisions because you’re afraid of what might go wrong?

Loss of meaning

  • Do you find yourself asking “What’s the point?” about your work or life, even if things look successful from the outside?
  • Have activities, goals, or relationships that once felt meaningful started to feel flat, empty, or like you’re just going through the motions?

Trauma

  • Are past experiences still intruding into your present through memories, dreams, or sudden emotional reactions?
  • Are you carefully organizing your life around avoiding certain places, people, or feelings so you don’t get triggered?

Menopause

  • Are changes in your mood, sleep, or energy levels during menopause leaving you feeling unlike yourself?
  • Do hot flashes, brain fog, or body changes make it harder to cope with everyday stress or feel comfortable in your own skin?

Divorce and breakups

  • Are you feeling torn between relief and grief, unsure how to rebuild your life after the separation?
  • Do practical decisions about home, finances, or parenting feel overwhelming because your emotions are all over the place?

Low self-esteem

  • Do you often feel “not good enough,” even when people around you say you’re doing well?
  • Do you hold back from opportunities or relationships because you doubt your worth or worry you’ll be judged or rejected?

Addiction

  • Have you tried to cut down or stop, but find yourself slipping back into the same pattern?
  • Is your use starting to affect your health, relationships, or work, even if from the outside things still look “fine”?

Let me know what issues you would like to address in therapy. I will respond to you within 24 working hours.

Frequently asked questions

💬 How much does the therapy cost?

In the UK, the price for a therapy session of 60 minutes is GBP 100.

In Switzerland, the price for a therapy session of 60 minutes is CHF 150.

⏳ How many sessions will I need?

My standard recommendation is to begin with 8–10 sessions and assess progress collaboratively. You are never locked into a contract, and we only continue if the process is delivering clear value to you.

🔐 Are sessions confidential?

Yes. No information is shared with third parties without your explicit written consent.

💼 Is the therapy cost covered by insurance?

In the UK, my therapy services are covered by major insurers including Aviva, AXA PPP, Cigna, WPA and VitalityHealth (formerly PruHealth).

In Switzerland, psychotherapy can now be billed through basic health insurance. This requires a diagnosed mental health condition. You will need a referral from an authorized medical professional (general practitioner, psychiatrist, or specialist in psychosomatic medicine).

You should check with your insurer before booking a session. In most cases you will need to pay for the session and reclaim the cost subsequently from your insurer.
